The Family Connection
We believe in a personal connection to the land, and that commitment starts at the top. A.C. Pippenger, our owner and founder, brings nearly 20 years of hands-on ranch management experience to every project. From his early days as a ranch hand to becoming the foreman of one of the oldest family ranches in Texas, A.C. has honed his expertise in land and livestock care.
A proud Texan with family roots in the Hill Country spanning over 150 years, A.C. launched the company in 2019 to bring a personal and professional approach to land management.
Together with his wife, Shelbie, The Pippengers run the company with the same values they instill in their family. They are raising their three children in the heart of the Hill Country, continuing the tradition of stewardship and respect for the land. Buffalo Land Management combines generations of knowledge with a personal approach to deliver exceptional results for every client.
Where We Work
We’re proudly based in Blanco, Texas, and cater to the majority of the Hill Country and parts of Central and South Texas. Here’s a collection of some of the communities we service, but we’re always willing to go a little further out if needed.
